Who's Who

DIRECTOR:
Shane Menza - ALT

Shane took over as Director in 2007.  He looks forward to hearing from all our members and will do his best to answer any questions to the best of his ability.  Shane oversees the entire group, makes sure information is properly being passed on, and advises other committee members on certain decisions that must be made. The director is in charge of our group e-mail and answers inquiries from USANG members. Until 2006 our Embassy Liaison position was removed and liaison duties were then placed on the director.

VICE DIRECTOR:
Position currently unfilled

The Vice Director supports the Director. The Vice Director offers constructive opinions and helps the Director in the running of USANG. The Vice Director is also involved with USANG fiscal matters by overseeing the budget and working with the Treasurer to encourage fiscal balance (ie. managing group fundraisers, etc.).

TREASURER:
Emiko Oonk Tachikawa - ex-Fukuoka CIR, currently in Oita

Hello everyone!  I hope all of you have settled in well and are enjoying your new lives in Japan.  As Treasurer for USANG, I will coordinate any fundraisers for our fund and help support any of your American-themed events!  As USANG has no set form of income, I highly encourage all of our members to conduct fundraisers of their own (past fundraisers include: International Singles Party, 4th of July Barbeque, etc.) to help support USANG!  If you would like to coordinate a fundraiser, please contact usangrep@yahoo.com .  Thanks for your continued support!

MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR:
Position currently unfilled

The Membership Coordinator watches over membership activity and continuously updates or membership database. With the launch of our updated webpage, the Membership Coordinator will be in charge of accepting new members, encouraging membership among JETs, and keeping out unwanted members and abusers of USANG.

WEBMASTER:
Sarah Mackenzie - ex-Kagoshima ALT, currently residing in the U.S.

The Webmaster is in charge of maintaining the USANG webpage.
